How to choose a venue in Dubai without signing the wrong contract
Fifteen things a venue will not tell you in the first email, and why we check them before the client signs.
A venue looks perfect on Instagram. Then the production team arrives and finds a loading dock two floors down, a 10 pm sound curfew, a mandatory AV supplier and a minimum spend that eats the decor budget.
What we check before contract
Production restrictions, mandatory suppliers, loading access, power, sound limitations, rigging, closing time, branding rules, F&B pricing, guest flow, parking and valet, backstage, artist rider compatibility, internet and livestream restrictions.
What we negotiate
Hire fee, minimum spend, F&B package, payment and cancellation terms, setup and breakdown time, overtime, security requirements, outside catering. We request the best available commercial and operational terms on the client's behalf.
What you receive
A comparison of shortlisted venues with price, minimum spend, technical conditions, restrictions, advantages and risks, and one recommendation. Fixed fee, AED 2,500.
