Event marketing vs event production: what Dubai brands actually buy
An event that fills a room is production. An event that changes what the market thinks and does is marketing. Here is how we brief the difference.

Most briefs we receive ask for an event. Most businesses need event marketing. The difference is not the budget, it is the sequence of questions asked before the venue is booked.
Nine questions before the first supplier
Why are we doing this? Who should attend? What should they understand? What should they remember? What should they photograph? What should they post? What should media publish? What should the business receive afterward? What will we measure?
Event production answers one of those questions: how do we make the room look good. Event marketing answers all nine, and production becomes one of the capabilities inside it.
What changes in practice
The guest list is built from the objective, not from a contact database. The decor is designed around three or four photographs the brand needs to exist after the night. PR is planned before the event, not sent out after. The photo and video team works to a shot list that comes from the marketing plan.
What we report
Attendance, qualified guests, media attendance, publications, social reach, content volume, leads and registrations where relevant. We do not guarantee results, we design for them and report honestly.
